Pappus House – Lanterns of Light

Join Pappus House for the 5th Annual Lanterns of Light event to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have gone before us on Sunday, October 8 at Cousler Park in York, PA. Honor your loved one with a memorial lantern and personalize them in memory of family, dear friends, and beloved pets. The twinkling light from hundreds of lanterns will illuminate the night with peace, love, and connection.

In the event of rain, Lanterns of Light will be moved to October 15.

The event schedule is as follows:

5:30 – 6 p.m.: Decorating of Lanterns

Personalize your floating lanterns with art and messages to honor family, friends, and beloved pets at Pavillion C of Cousler Park. Markers will be available, but attendees are welcome to bring other craft materials

6:15 p.m.: Program

Sunset: Lantern Launch into the Pond

Plan to bring a camp chair or blanket to watch the program & launch.
