Traditions Bank, headquartered at 226 Pauline Drive in York Township, announces the promotion of Dr. Teresa Gregory to President of Traditions Mortgage, a Division of Traditions Bank.
Dr. Gregory joined Traditions Bank in January 2010 to launch the Bank’s in-house Mortgage Services Division and serve as a Managing Director on the executive leadership team. Under Teresa’s direction, the residential mortgage team has grown from two to two dozen best-in-class associates. For the past five years, the bank has been the number one residential mortgage provider in York County according to the most recent production volume data available from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
In March of this year, the bank’s mortgage division was renamed Traditions Mortgage to reflect an ongoing promise to serve the needs of Central Pennsylvania with a full suite of residential mortgage products and a reputation for on-time closings. At the same time, the market was extended to serve the Capital Region with the addition of a loan production office in Cumberland County.
“Teresa’s change in title to President of Traditions Mortgage is an acknowledgment of her leadership and personal commitment to establishing and growing our well respected residential mortgage division,” noted Eugene Draganosky, President & CEO of Traditions Bank. “Her contributions to the success of the entire organization are significant. She has an innate ability to recognize talented people and maximize their potential for growth. Dr. Gregory’s depth of knowledge makes her a proven expert in the field, both locally and nationally, and we are fortunate to have her as part of our leadership team.”
An alumnus of William Penn High School in York, Dr. Gregory received a BS in marketing and an MBA in finance and accounting from York College of Pennsylvania, where she is an adjunct professor of finance. In 2016, Gregory earned a Doctorate of Business Administration from Walden University. She is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking, a member of the ABA Mortgage Markets Committee, and a past member of the Federal Home Loan Bank Pittsburgh Mortgage Partnership Finance Advisory Board. Prior to joining Traditions Bank, she was Senior Vice President, Secondary Market and Operations Manager of Fulton Mortgage Company.
“When I joined the bank in 2010, our goal was to make Traditions Bank the very best mortgage provider in York County,” said Gregory. “Expanding the success of Traditions Mortgage beyond the York County borders allows us to help even more Central PA residents realize their home ownership dreams. It has been an absolute honor, and I look forward to what this team can continue to do together.”
Teresa serves on the board of York Builders Association and York Area Housing Group and is a past board member of York Benevolent Association and Community Progress Council.
