Traditions Bank Gives Back in 2022

During the holiday season, we are reminded of our many blessings and all we have to be thankful for. At the same time, we are also aware of the many residents in our community who need some extra help with food, clothing, school supplies, and more.

Join us as we give back to these organizations in the communities we serve.

Benefitting York Area Children – Community Progress Council

Each year, the children enrolled in CPC’s early childhood programs receive holiday cheer through the partnership with local individuals and organizations. They want to continue this tradition and keep everyone safe during this unprecedented time. Please consider supporting their program through the purchase of a gift for one of their families and bring a little joy to their homes this year.

Benefitting York Area – Christmas Emergency Fund

The Christmas Emergency Fund is the York Daily Record’s annual fundraiser, benefiting a group or nonprofit organization in York County. This year, the money raised will benefit the victims of Hurricane Ida.

Those who wish to donate can stop by one of our branches or mail their donation to:

The program kicks off on Thanksgiving Day and runs through January. Weekly updates will be printed in the paper to show the amount donated to date, and the contributor list will be printed at the end of the campaign.

Benefitting Hanover Area Veterans

Our Hanover branch, 361 Eisenhower Drive, will collect personal care items (toothpaste, soap, towels, etc.), nonperishable food items, and other supplies for veterans in need. A full list is available here. Collection dates are through mid-December.

About the For the Love of a Veteran

For the Love of a Veteran is an organization devoted to supporting veterans and their families. Particularly those experiencing homelessness or battling PTSD.

Benefitting Lancaster Area – Aaron’s Acres

Aaron’s Acres is about connecting with children of all different abilities and their families. Aaron’s Acres focuses on the entire family throughout the year and provides various programs and activities to all family members. For a child with physical and motor difficulties, the staff needs to be trained and knowledgeable in lifting the child, transporting the child, and ensuring that the child is comfortable and safe at all times. Each year, Aaron’s Acres assesses their program needs and compiles a wish list of suggested donations.

Purchase and directly ship items to Aaron’s Acres here.
