Wellness Committee Turns Points into Donations

Our Associates Turn Participation in our Wellness Program into Donations to Local Charitable Organizations

In 2014, our Wellness Committee changed our wellness program format to allow participants to earn points throughout the program year and at year-end turn those points into gift cards and/or donations.

The 2020 Wellness Program – Go For The Gold! – resulted in the following donations:

  • Family First Health received $478.00
  • Susquehanna Valley Community Mental Health Services received $630.00
  • The Movement York received $330.00
  • White Rose Outreach received $367.00

What Do These Donations Mean to Our Community?

Family First Health provides accessible, high-quality health care at 8 convenient locations in Adams, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties. We provide primary medical and dental care, integrated behavioral health, and a wide range of community health programs to more than 22,000 patients each year. Thank you for partnering with Family First Health to build healthier communities by helping our patients live happier, healthier lives. ~ Amy Chamberlin, Director of Development & Community Engagement

Susquehanna Valley Community Mental Health Services is dedicated to helping survivors heal from complex trauma, such as domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation. Survivors are often referred to us with limited resources for trauma therapy. This donation will allow people who would otherwise fall through the funding cracks, to continue receiving ongoing, quality, compassionate, trauma therapy needed for healing and lasting change. This donation will be truly life-changing for trauma survivors. We are so very grateful for your generosity. ~ Sharron Hill, Chief Executive Officer

The Movement York supports York C.A.R.E.S. with feeding the homeless and these funds provide 6 meals to their schedule of Friday feedings. They feed about 20 people on Fridays. The meals are always hot and filling for them.

White Rose Outreach: “The award we received from Traditions Bank will allow us to continue to purchase items that so many are in need of in our communities, like sunscreen for the warmer months. 100% of the dollars we receive go directly to the purchase of items for distribution. Thank you for supporting our mission!” – Jennifer Leidy, Board President

Thank you to all of our Associates who participated in our Wellness challenges. In the last seven years, our Wellness Committee has donated more than $12,000 to local charitable organizations.
