What is your ACNB story?
I have been with ACNB Bank for over 23 years. I started my journey as a Seasonal Floating Teller while attending college. I always looked forward to returning to the Bank and reconnecting with coworkers and customers during my college breaks. When I graduated, I returned for what I thought would be “one more summer!” During that summer, an opportunity opened up with the Human Resources team. I interviewed for the job and I have been in the department ever since! I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from many great people over the years. It has been exciting to not only watch, but be a part of the growth and progress of ACNB.
What do you love about working here?
I love that the “community bank” aspect is felt throughout the entire Bank. What makes the Bank so special is the relationships that are developed, both with internal employees and those we interact with in the community. When faced with opportunities or challenges, everyone comes together as a team to collaborate, learn and grow with one another.
What activities do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, spending time outside, gardening, and boating on the lake.
Why should people bank at a community bank?
A community bank is special because of the relationships that are developed. It provides you with a great opportunity to connect with people who know and understand your financial needs because we share the same communities. We live, work, and play right beside our customers. A community bank can better understand the opportunities and challenges you face on a daily basis and can offer you financial solutions that support your needs.
What are some of your favorite local activities or restaurants?
Over the years, I have enjoyed participating with Team ACNB in different events, but have always enjoyed walking in the Christmas parade in Hanover, the Heart Walk, and Bowl for Kids’ Sake. One of my favorite places to visit is Half Pint Creamery! It is hard to resist!
